The past few weeks have been a whirlwind, starting with a crucial hospital stay due to unexpectedly low amniotic fluid. It was a concerning time, filled with prayers and quiet worry, but thanks to incredible medical care and strict adherence to protocol, we received nothing but good news at each visit. The medical team worked tirelessly, using IV fluids and prescribed bed rest, to bring my fluid levels back to a safe and stable point. The relief of hearing that I could return home, albeit under strict bed rest orders, was immense. Knowing I could continue my recovery in the comfort of my own space, surrounded by loved ones, made all the difference.

My new routine now involves frequent check-ups, with 2-3 sonograms a week to closely monitor both my fluid levels and the baby’s progress. I’m thrilled to report that my levels have remained steady since leaving the hospital – a testament to the power of rest and care. This development has, however, brought a slight change to our eagerly awaited due date. Our little one has decided to make an earlier debut, with the delivery date now moved up to the 27th of this month, assuming I can keep him or her safely tucked in until then.
